This isn’t a rental company that happened to find Colorado. It’s the story of a guy who wanted to chase powder, peaks, and paragliding — and couldn’t find the right rig to do it in.
In 2019, I stumbled across the Winnebago Revel and something clicked. An adventure machine. Something I could drive straight to the mountains without checking in anywhere, booking anything, or answering to anyone.
I wanted a mobile basecamp. A ski lodge. A bike hub. A paragliding hut. I needed an all-in-one machine I could drive to the trailhead and have my adventure. comcook something, and take a nap — then dial in the next adventure.
Park where others can't even get close. Sleep at elevation.
Adventure for hours. Return to food, warmth, and a real bed.
No plans. No reservations. Just wherever tomorrow feels right.
I landed on a different platform — a small Class C built on the Ford E-Series chassis. The same foundation used for ambulances and airport shuttles. Stable. Durable. Built to work hard. But the real issue with most RVs isn’t what’s under the hood- It’s the clearance.
Most RVs are built for campgrounds. Long. Low, and dragging their sewer pipes on every mini curb they encounter. They’re just not built to leave pavement — and that defeats the entire point.
Crowds · Hookups · Noise
Solitude · Freedom · Wild
Monster Max was a hit. Then, Mighty Max came along, and today we have Mountain Max rounding out the trio — three nearly identical machines all lifted and built super-burly to go anywhere but a campground.
The first rig. A 2019 ALP Adventurer 19RD — modified from day one. Lift kit. Big tires. Real ground clearance. We used it for our own trips and rented it out to help cover the build. It took off immediately.

Demand pushed us to build a second rig. Mighty Max is nimbler, lighter, and fits into tighter spots while offering the same core off-grid capability. For couples and small groups who want maximum access with a smaller footprint.

The newest rig in the fleet — and the most refined. Same DNA as Monster Max and Mighty Max, but with an upgraded interior, extended solar array, and the freshest build we’ve ever put out. Brand new and already turning heads.

Most RVs need to be plugged in to do anything useful. That was never going to work for what we were building and where we were going. Instead of relying on solar alone, we engineered a smarter system.
Each rig runs large lithium battery banks, with DC-to-DC charging systems that recharge the batteries while you drive. A few hours of driving means you arrive fully topped off — ready to park anywhere and run everything indefinitely. To back it all up we have generators on board just in case!
We carry generators on all our RV's but they are rarely ever neeed with such large and charged up Lithium battery banks. Our ginnys are good in the summer if you want AC- thats the only conveninece that wont run run on battey banks alone.
High-capacity lithium cells store everything. Runs fans, heaters, fridge, and all appliances through the night.
Drive to your spot and arrive with a full battery. The alternator charges the bank as you roll.
Stay comfortable in all four seasons. Mountain nights get cold. Desert days get hot. We handle both.
6 inch Lift Kits from Weld tec come standard on all our RV's-that includes Fox suspension, Skyjacker Coils and a FOX Steering Wheel Stabilizer (drives like an SUV!) and custom Weld Tec SWAY bars
But this was never just about the rigs. It’s about how you experience Colorado. We like to pack up our gear and head for parts unknown — close to Mother Nature and as far from people as we can get. Our mantra is: Go Outside: The Rest Will Follow.
The best places to find that Flow are the places your phone doesn’t work. Yeah, we said it. Go old school. The busy world will still be here when you return. The difference is you’ll have a big smile on your face😁
“People are packed in, watching TV, scrolling their phones, paying hundreds of dollars to do it. What’s the point again?”
Your gateway to real adventure. The places most people never see. The mornings with no neighbors. The silence. The peaks. The freedom to go wherever tomorrow takes you — with everything you need already in the rig.
Now go out there and find your Flow.
Three rigs. Three personalities. All lifted and built for the Colorado backcountry. Pick yours and go find your Flow.
Pick your rig. Pick your dates. We’ll handle the rest. Colorado’s most remote, spectacular places are waiting.
